Employment Opportunities

Thank you for your interest in applying for a job with American Medical Response in Santa Clara County. We currently have no open field (EMT or Paramedic) positions available. We do not anticipate hiring for the next year. We currently have a waiting list of approximately 100 applicants.

All applications are time stamped and filed until we anticipate an opportunity to begin testing and interviewing applicants. Should we have openings, those applicants will be called in order of receipt of their completed applications. Applicants must pass a test and pass their oral interviews prior to being offered a position. There is then a probationary period after completing the Hiring Academy.

There are currently no field openings anticipated within other AMR operations in the Bay Area. Due to the economy there has been no attrition to Fire Departments or other EMS agencies. Please continue to check with the National AMR website for careers.
